Suggestion from CYC member
The establishment of a neurodiversity acceptance subgroup. I feel that neurodiversity is not discussed sufficiently in these meetings, we could pressure companies to celebrate festivals (which almost never happen here) dedicated to neurodiversity and Autism. Autism is not a disease to be cured, it’s like curing blue eyes, it is a difference to be accommodated.

CYC’s Equality Officers Rain and Shivani will be looking at how CYC can become more neurodiverse friendly. Part of this is to explore training opportunities that can be offered to all CYC members, and further discussion will take place with the membership for more ideas..
