Celebrating Success
The Active Involvement Team, members of Cardiff Youth Council (CYC) Fahadi Mukulu & Connor Clarke and Cardiff Youth Service (EIP) attended the Senedd on June 25th to celebrate national Youth Work Week. The event was run by Youth Work in Wales and Youth Cymru and was sponsored by Llyr Gruffydd AM.
At the event Kirsty Williams announced a further ten million pounds would be given to youth services in Wales to help youth homelessness and youth mental health and wellbeing.
The Youth Work Strategy for Wales was also launched by former children’s commissioner for Wales, and now the chair of Interim Youth Work Board Wales, Keith Towler.

Aeth y Tîm Cyfaniad Actif, aelodau Cyngor Ieuenctid Caerdydd, Fahadi Mukulu a Connor Clarke a Gwasanaeth Ieuenctid Caerdydd i’r Senedd ar 25 Mehefin i ddathlu wythnos Genedlaethol Gwaith Ieuenctid. Gwaith Ieuenctid Cymru ac Ieuenctid Cymru a gynhaliodd y digwyddiad, gyda nawdd Llŷr Gruffydd AC.
Yn y digwyddiad, bu i Kirsty Williams ddatgan y rhoddid deng miliwn o bunnoedd eto i wasanaethau ieuenctid yng Nghymru i helpu digartrefedd pobl ifanc ac iechyd meddwl a lles pobl ifanc.
Lansiwyd Strategaeth Gwaith Ieuenctid hefyd gan gyn-gomisiynydd plant Cymru, sydd nawr yn gadeirydd Bwrdd Gwaith Ieuenctid Dros Dro Cymru, Keith Towler.
